FULOKOJA Restates Prohibition of Sign-Out Activities for Final-Year Students

The Federal University Lokoja (FULOKOJA) has issued a fresh reminder to final-year students that sign-out ceremonies remain prohibited and that the ban will be strictly enforced.

The directive comes as graduating students prepare for their final examinations. Management said students must not organise or participate in sign-out activities anywhere within or around the university, including the gates of the Felele and Adankolo Campuses.

The university specifically prohibited:

• Sign-out ceremonies or related events;
• Spraying or pouring water, champagne, wine, beverages, powder, foam or other substances during sign-out activities;
• Road processions, convoys or gatherings connected to sign-out celebrations;
• Smearing or defacing university property, especially the Main Gate; and
• Any activity designed to serve as a sign-out ceremony or bypass the existing restriction.

However, students may take photographs and record videos as long as they do so responsibly, follow university regulations and do not use the activities to organise or facilitate a sign-out ceremony.

Management warned that students who organise, participate in, facilitate or promote prohibited activities may face disciplinary action under university rules.

The university congratulated the final-year students on reaching the end of their academic journey and wished them success in their final examinations. It said their accomplishments would be celebrated at the appropriate time and through the proper channel during the Convocation Ceremony.

Management urged the students to stay focused, act responsibly and complete their studies in a manner befitting graduates of FULOKOJA.
