ATBU Extends 2026/2027 Post-UTME Deadline
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has extended its online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session
The decision was announced in a circular issued by the university’s Academic Division on Thursday, 30 July 2026.
According to the circular, the online screening exercise has been extended until 31 August 2026. The university explained that the extension is intended to give candidates who are still awaiting the release of their O’Level examination results sufficient time to upload their results to the JAMB admission portal before completing the screening process.
The management advised all affected candidates to upload their O’Level results immediately after they are released and ensure they complete all the requirements of the online screening exercise before the new deadline.
ATBU also urged prospective students to make good use of the extension, stressing that only candidates who successfully complete the screening process within the approved period will be considered for admission.
The university further stated that no further extension will be granted after the new deadline expires and advised applicants not to wait until the last minute before completing the process.
