Candidates seeking admission into Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM), have been given additional time to complete their 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry (DE) screening registration.
BSU Announces Extension of 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Deadline
The University has extended the registration deadline from August 31 to September 25, 2026.
The extension is for candidates who took the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry applicants who selected MOAUM as their first-choice institution, including those who later changed their first choice to the University.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, UTME candidates must have:
- Scored at least 150 in the UTME and selected MOAUM as their first choice.
- Obtained five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- Met the required UTME score for their chosen programme.
The programme cut-off scores are as follows:
- 150+: Faculty of Education.
- 160+: Faculties of Administration and Management, Arts, Environmental Sciences, Science (excluding B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Biochemistry and B.Sc. Microbiology), Social Sciences, and Technology and Industrial Studies.
- 180+: Faculties of Architecture and Communication and Media Studies, plus B.Sc. Computer Science.
- 200+: B.Sc. Microbiology, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Biochemistry.
- 220+: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), Medical Laboratory Science and Radiography and Radiation Science.
- 240+: MBBS and LL.B.
Registration Process
Applicants should complete their registration through the University portal:
From the portal:
- Choose “Admission” and select “Post UTME/DE Verification.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Next.”
- After your status is verified, select “Proceed” to access the payment platform.
- Pay the required ₦2,000 Post-UTME screening fee.
- Return to the portal, select “Admission”, and click “Continue Registration.”
- Complete the application form and print a copy for your records.
Additional Instructions for Applicants
All UTME and Direct Entry candidates must upload their O’Level/A’Level results, where applicable, to JAMB CAPS. Failure to upload the required results will lead to disqualification from consideration for admission.
Applicants for B.Sc. Mass Communication should change to another programme within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
Candidates who applied for BN Nursing should consider other science-based programmes, especially those offered by the Faculty of Science and the College of Health Sciences.
Applicants for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes within the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, particularly Industrial Technology.
Candidates are encouraged to monitor the University portal regularly for new information, further instructions and updates concerning the admission process.
