The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the commencement of applications for Inter-University Transfer for eligible students seeking admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

According to a statement signed by the Senior Deputy Registrar (Senate and Admissions), Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, the Inter-University Transfer application portal will open on Monday, July 13, 2026. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦50,000, which covers the REMITA processing charges.
To be eligible, candidates must be registered students of a recognised university in Nigeria and must have secured admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Applicants seeking transfer into Agricultural programmes must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale, while those applying for Engineering and Science programmes must possess at least a 3.50 CGPA as of the second semester of the current academic session. Candidates are also expected to arrange for their official academic transcripts to be sent directly to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Prospective applicants should visit the University’s Admissions Portal, read the Inter-University Transfer guidelines carefully, and log in using the JAMB Registration Number on their JAMB Admission Letter. After completing the online application, candidates should print the completed form and submit it to the Senate and Admissions Unit.
The University urged all interested candidates to verify that they meet the prescribed admission requirements before proceeding with their applications
