UNIJOS Post-UTME 2026 Cut-Off & Registration
The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has commenced registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. Applications are invited from candidates who selected UNIJOS as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME or Direct Entry admission process and meet the prescribed admission requirements.

Registration Schedule
– Opening Date: Monday, 13 July 2026
– Closing Date: Saturday, 12 September 2026
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:
– Choose the University of Jos as your first-choice institution.
– Score at least 180 in the 2026 UTME, subject to the departmental cut-off mark for the chosen programme.
– Upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
– Complete the online registration and pay the prescribed screening fee.
– Direct Entry applicants must also possess the required qualifications for their selected programme.
How to Apply
- Visit the UNIJOS admission portal.
- Click on Forms Application and select 2026 UTME/DE Screening.
- Create an account using your JAMB Registration Number, email address, phone number and password.
- Activate your account through the verification email sent to you.
- Log in to your dashboard and pay the screening fee.
Print your University payment receipt, Remita receipt and screening summary slip for future reference.
Important Information
– Only candidates who selected UNIJOS as their first-choice institution are eligible to apply.
– Applicants should ensure they meet the departmental cut-off mark for their preferred course. Candidates who do not meet the requirements are advised to change to a suitable programme through JAMB before applying.
– Admitted candidates must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS within four weeks for it to reflect on the University portal.
– Failure to comply with the admission guidelines may affect the processing of admission.
Faculty Cut-Off Marks
The minimum UTME score for admission varies by programme. While the general minimum score is 180, some competitive courses require higher marks.

– Medicine and Surgery – 250
– Law – 240
– Doctor of Pharmacy – 230
– Computer Science – 220
– Medical Laboratory Science – 220
– Nursing Science – 220
– Radiography – 220
– Veterinary Medicine – 220
– Criminology – 220
– Pharmacology – 220
– Architecture – 200
– Accounting – 200
– Business Administration – 200
– Microbiology – 200
– Mass Communication – 200
– Biochemistry – 200
– Civil, Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Engineering – 190
Most other programmes across the various faculties have a minimum cut-off mark of 180, while Dentistry will not admit candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The University encouraged all eligible candidates to complete their registration before the deadline and wished prospective students success in the admission process.
