The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the release of the results of the November/December National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC), and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.

The results were announced by the Acting Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Nnasia Asanga.

95.94% Obtained Five Credits and Above

According to Asanga, 29,880 candidates, representing 67.56% of those who sat for the examinations, obtained at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language.

Meanwhile, 42,431 candidates (95.94%) obtained five credits or more, with or without Mathematics and English Language.

A total of 44,730 candidates registered for the examinations, which were conducted at 1,825 centers across the country.

NABTEB also reported that 256 candidates, representing 0.53% of those who sat for the examinations, were involved in examination malpractice.

NABTEB Begins Electronic Certificate Issuance

Asanga disclosed that NABTEB has commenced the issuance of electronic certificates.

He added that candidates who participated in examinations conducted between May/June 2017 and November/December 2022 can now obtain their certificates electronically.

How to Check Your NABTEB Result

Candidates can check their results by following these steps:

  1. Visit the nearest NABTEB office to obtain a result-checking PIN.
  2. Visit the official NABTEB result portal: eworld.nabteb.gov.ng
  3. Enter your Candidate Identification Number, for example, 15001-001.
  4. Select the Type of Examination: Nov/Dec.
  5. Enter the four-digit examination year, for example, 2023.
  6. Enter the Card Serial Number and PIN found on your photocard. The Card Serial Number contains an alphabet prefix followed by digits, for example, N123456789.
  7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your scratch card, for example, 012345678912.
  8. Click Submit and wait for your result to appear.

How to Receive Your Result by Email

Candidates who want their results sent to their email address should:

  1. Follow steps 1–5 above.
  2. Click the “Send Results to E-mail” option.
  3. Enter a valid email address.
  4. Click Submit and wait for the result to be displayed.

Candidates are advised to carefully enter their examination details and ensure that their email address is correct before submitting their request.
