ELIGIBILITY FOR DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D) PROGRAMMES
An applicant seeking admission into a Ph.D programme shall:
(a) Be a graduate of Prince Abubakar Audu University or any other approved university who has obtained a Master’s degree in Arts or Science (M.A/M.Sc/LL.M/M.Ed).
(b) Have a minimum 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) on a 5.00-point scale, or an equivalent letter grade of B, in the previous postgraduate programme.
(c) For programmes in the Natural Sciences, a candidate must have a minimum 3.50 CGPA on a 5.00-point scale, or an equivalent letter grade of B, in the previous postgraduate programme.
(d) Candidates who do not meet the requirements in (b) and (c) may apply for M.Phil/Ph.D in their respective programmes where available.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MASTER OF ARTS/MASTER OF SCIENCE/LL.M/MALD/MLD/MPA/MBA/MEM
For Master’s Degree programmes (M.A/M.Sc/M.A.M.Sc/M.Ed), candidates are required to:
(i) Possess a Bachelor’s degree from Prince Abubakar Audu University or any other recognised university in the relevant programme, with 2.40 or as the case may be.
(ii) Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.00 for programmes in the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
(iii) Possess the relevant O’ Level credits.
ELIGIBILITY FOR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)
To qualify for admission into Postgraduate Diploma programmes, a candidate must:
(i) Hold a minimum of a Third Class degree from Prince Abubakar Audu University or any other recognised university.
(ii) Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) at lower-credit level in related fields

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
All applicants for postgraduate admission must satisfy the O’ Level/first-degree requirements of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, as follows:
(a) Possess five O’ Level credit passes (matriculation requirements for each discipline) at not more than two sittings in the relevant subjects, including English Language for all disciplines and Mathematics for all Science-based disciplines, Geography, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Science and Education.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
The application fee for Ph.D programmes is N35,000.00 (Thirty-five thousand naira only), while the fee for all other postgraduate programmes is N25,000.00 (Twenty-five thousand naira only).
