UNIUYO SUG Announcement for NELFUND
The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has appealed to all NELFUND beneficiaries for the 2025/2026 academic session to stay calm, noting that they are not required to submit any refund application at this time.
In a statement issued by the SUG Directorate of Information and Public Relations, it was disclosed that the university’s ICT Unit, alongside the Bursary Department, is currently handling the verification and refund arrangements for qualified beneficiaries.
The statement explained that the relevant university authorities are making efforts to ensure that all eligible students receive their settlements on or before Monday.
Students have therefore been encouraged to remain patient and focus on their ongoing examinations while the refund exercise is being finalised.
However, beneficiaries who do not receive their settlement by Monday are advised to visit the NELFUND Desk Officer’s office to seek further assistance.
