SSU Reviews Campus Security Situation, Issues Fresh Security Advisory
The University Management wishes to inform the entire University Community that, at its 199th Meeting held on 27 August 2026, it reviewed the earlier circular on the security situation issued on 20 August 2026.
Following the review, Management approved the following measures:
- Cattle grazing on campus is prohibited with immediate effect. The Chief Security Coordinator is directed to ensure strict compliance.
- All social gatherings are suspended until further notice.
- All pending elections of student associations/unions are postponed until further notice.
Notwithstanding these measures, staff and students are advised to continue their normal academic activities.
The University Community is further urged to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious persons, activities or group movements to the appropriate security authorities.
Everyone is advised to comply accordingly.
