UEE Commences 2026 Students’ Union Week on August 24

Management wishes to inform all students that the Vice-Chancellor has approved Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28, 2026, as the UEE Students’ Union Week.

Accordingly, all students are encouraged to participate fully and responsibly in the various activities lined up for the week.

This was conveyed in a memo signed by the University Registrar, Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., who stated that the Students’ Union Week provides an opportunity for students to foster unity, strengthen leadership and teamwork, promote healthy social interaction, and showcase the entrepreneurial spirit of the University.

In view of the above, all lectures, tests, and other academic activities previously scheduled for the week are to be rescheduled to enable students to participate fully in the approved activities.

The Registrar further directed all Heads of Departments and lecturers to make the necessary adjustments to their academic schedules accordingly.

While wishing all students a smooth, peaceful, and successful Students’ Union Week, Management urges everyone to demonstrate a high level of responsibility, discipline, maturity, and respect for the University’s rules and regulations throughout the celebrations.

Students are particularly encouraged to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the good image and reputation of the University. Acts of violence, disorderly conduct, or any other form of misconduct will not be tolerated.

Management looks forward to a memorable, successful, and rewarding Students’ Union Week.
