The Faculty of Education, University of Uyo (UNIUYO), has announced the release of the 2025 Batch C Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Pre-Qualifying Examination (PQE) results.
UNIUYO announces 2025 Batch C TRCN pre-qualifying exam results, extends registration
The examination was held on Monday, 27 April 2026, and the list of successful candidates has been displayed on the Faculty of Education Notice Board.
Successful candidates are required to register for induction, certification and licence by making the prescribed payments.
Candidates with Ph.D qualifications (Category A) are to pay ₦45,500 for induction/certification and ₦45,000 for the licence, bringing the total to ₦90,500.
Candidates with Master’s qualifications (Category B) are to pay ₦37,500 for induction/certification and ₦36,000 for the licence, making a total of ₦73,500.
Candidates with B.Sc (Ed)/PCDE qualifications (Category C) are to pay ₦32,000 for induction/certification and ₦27,000 for the licence, bringing the total to ₦59,000.
The licence fee covers a period of three years.

After making payment, candidates are required to collect the registration forms from the Faculty Officer, complete them, and return them in a file jacket along with copies of their credentials and two passport photographs with a white background.
Candidates must also clearly write their name, phone number, examination number and National Identification Number (NIN) on both the forms and the file jacket.
Registration deadline
The registration deadline has been extended to Monday, 31 August 2026.
The tentative date for the induction ceremony is Thursday, 17 September 2026.
Important notice
The PQE result is valid for one year only, after which candidates will be required to register and sit the examination again.
Only completed and returned application forms will be processed for induction and certification.
